We needed a short break to recharge our batteries. Rose Cottage was in a lovely location in a small village with a pub serving good food. Other good facilities in the area, eg the Kinema in the Woods at Woodhall Spa. Pleasant walking in the area too. The hosts were extremely hospitable and helpful. It was so nice to have a private sitting room to chill out, read books etc; like being at home but more peaceful!! The quaint range with coal fire was lovely, especially in February. Read less

The charming thatched cottage. We wanted some privacy rather than public rooms and the cottage had a cosy, comfortable sitting room with real fire, and its own dining area where breakfast was served.

Evenings in front of the fire, breakfast being served in the cottage,the attentiveness of the owners, your own front door and not having to disturb anyone else was great and all made for a great stay.
